Reactivating a Device Using the Reset PIN Code Feature

If your Systam Rooms device requires reactivation —perhaps after a reset or network change —you can easily do so by resetting its PIN code through the Systam Studio. This process ensures that all existing configurations, such as room assignments and calendar integrations, remain intact.


Step 1: Reset the Device’s PIN Code

  1. Log in to the Systam Studio.
  2. Navigate to the Devices tab.
  3. Locate the device you wish to reactivate.
  4. Click on Reset PIN Code.

A new PIN code will be generated for the device.


Step 2: Enter the New PIN Code on the Device

  1. Power on the device and ensure it’s connected to the internet.
  2. When prompted, enter the newly generated PIN code.

The device will now synchronize with its previous settings and configurations.


There’s no need to remove or reconfigure the device in your account. Reactivating with the new PIN code retains all existing settings.
