Planning a multi-day visit

Does your visitor need to sign in on several days in a row? With Systam Visit, you can plan the whole multi-day visit in one go.

Creating a multi-day visit

1. In Systam Studio, open Plan a visit.
2. Select the workspace the visit belongs to.
3. Set Visit starts to the first day and time of the visit.
4. Under Estimated duration, choose Other instead of the quick options (1h, 2h, 1d) — this unlocks a separate end date field.
5. Set Visit ends to the last day and time of the visit.
6. Add the visitor(s) in the Visitor(s) field by searching for a name, or import several visitors at once with Import visitors using the Download .xlsx template.
7. Check the Host field — it defaults to you, but can be changed.
8. Optionally add a title and details under Add visit title and details.
9. Select Save visit.

Alternative: creating a multi-day visit from a calendar invite

You can also create a multi-day visit directly from a calendar invite — as long as the invite spans the entire visit period (for example, starts on Monday and ends on Friday), Systam treats it as one multi-day visit instead of several separate single-day visits.

What to expect during a multi-day visit

Once the visit is saved, a few things work differently from a regular single-day visit:

• The visitor's sign-in PIN works on every day of the visit — no need to create a new visit each morning.
• A new visitor badge is printed each day the visitor signs in.
• The host gets a sign-in notification every day, not just on the first one.
• The pre-visit message link sent to the visitor and host stays valid for the whole visit, but the visitor still needs to sign in separately at reception each day.

That's it — one visit covers the whole stay, from the first day to the last.
