Systam Pass integration

Modified on Wed, 10 Jun at 9:05 AM

With the Systam Pass integration, you can require visitors to complete a safety induction as part of the visit process. Visitors can complete the induction in advance or at the kiosk when they arrive — sign-in is not possible until the induction has been successfully completed.

How it works

Once the induction is enabled for a visit type, Visit includes it in the visit flow automatically:

  1. The visitor receives a pre-arrival message with the Pass induction listed as a required task. They can complete it on their own device before arriving.
  2. If the induction has not been completed in advance, the kiosk displays the induction during sign-in. The visitor completes it on the kiosk before sign-in continues.
  3. Visit checks the induction status every time someone signs in — no one can enter without a successfully completed induction.

Requirements

Before getting started, make sure:

  • Your organisation has an active Systam Pass integration purchased
  • The Pass induction is ready: content, materials and any questions are configured in the Pass service

Setup

The integration is activated in three steps:

  1. Purchase the integration — confirm that the Systam Pass integration has been purchased for your organisation. Contact Systam sales or support if you're unsure.
  2. Build your induction — set up the induction content in the Pass service: what materials are shown to visitors and what questions, if any, you want to include.
  3. Request the linking — contact Systam support or your account contact at support@systam.io. Systam will link the Pass induction to your visit type in the background.

Once the linking is done, you can enable or disable the induction yourself directly in Studio's visit type settings.

Enabling the induction in Studio

  1. Sign in to Systam Studio at app.systam.io.
  2. Go to Settings → Visit types.
  3. Open the visit type you want to configure.
  4. Find the Induction field and toggle it on or off as needed.
  5. Save your changes.

All visits of this type will now require the induction to be completed.
