Editing Room Display Settings in Systam Studio

In Systam Studio, you can adjust the settings for each Rooms display individually. Settings are divided into two tabs: General settings and Customization.

Opening display settings

  1. Sign in to Systam Studio at app.systam.io.
  2. Go to Devices in the left menu.
  3. Select the Room displays tab at the top.
  4. Click the display you want to configure.

General settings

  • Device name – Give the display a clear name (e.g. "Meeting Room 1") and click Apply.
  • Linked space – Connect the display to the correct space using the dropdown and click Apply. Use Unlink to remove the connection.
  • PIN code – Click Reset PIN code to reset the device PIN.
  • Danger zoneDelete device permanently removes the display from Systam Studio.

Customization

  • Default language – Choose the language shown on the display. Defaults to the workspace-level language setting.
  • Enable ad hoc reservation – When on, visitors can make spontaneous room bookings directly from the display.
  • Show event name – Displays the name of the ongoing meeting on the main screen.
  • Show organizer name – Shows the meeting organizer's name for ongoing meetings and calendar entries.
  • Require users to confirm their booking upon arrival – When on, the display asks for confirmation 15 minutes before a booking starts. If the booking isn't confirmed within 15 minutes after the start time, the room is automatically freed.

That's it — a few quick settings and your display works exactly the way you need it.
