Visitors can be signed out from Systam Visit in four different ways: with a mobile visitor card, at a self-service kiosk, at a separate sign-out point, or manually in Systam Studio. Timely sign-out keeps visitor data up to date and ensures your live status view stays accurate.
Ways for visitors to sign out
1. Mobile visitor badge
When a visitor signs in, they receive a mobile visitor badge by email or text message. The card includes a button they can use to sign out when their visit ends.
- The visitor opens their mobile visitor badge.
- They tap the sign-out button on the badge.
- The visit is marked as ended.
2. Self-service kiosk
Visitors can also sign out at a self-service kiosk on site.
- The visitor taps Sign out on the screen.
- They enter their name.
- The kiosk finds the active visit.
- The visitor signs out.
3. Separate sign-out point
Sign-out can also be handled at a separate sign-out point.
- When leaving, the visitor shows the QR code from their visitor card to the device.
- The system identifies the visit.
- The visitor is marked as departed.
4. Sign-out in Systam Studio
Visitors can also be signed out manually in Systam Studio. This is useful if a visitor forgets to sign out themselves.
- Open the view where visitors are listed.
- Find the active visit.
- Select the visitor and sign them out.
Automatic check-out at the end of the day
If your visitors do not always sign themselves out, you can enable a setting in Systam Studio that signs them out automatically at the end of the day. It makes everyday use easier and helps keep your visitor list clean without manual work.
You can find the setting here:
Settings → Visitor settings → General visitor settings → Automatic visitor sign-out
