How to invite guests using the Invites by Systam Outlook add-in

With the Invites by Systam add-in, you can add visitor information directly from your Outlook calendar meeting. When you send the meeting invitation as usual, the visit details are automatically transferred to the Systam Visit service, and visitors receive a pre-arrival message before their visit.


How to use the add-in

  1. Create a new event in your Outlook calendar as usual.  
  2. Click the Invites by Systam button in the top toolbar.  
  3. Select the Workspace to which you are inviting visitors.
  4. Select the correct Visit type.
  5. Once selected, the invitation address is automatically added to the meeting as a single recipient. 
  6. Fill in the rest of the meeting details as normal (attendees, time, location, subject, etc.).  
  7. Send the meeting invitation. 
    • Sending the invitation adds the visit details to the Systam Visit service. 
    • All invited visitors will automatically receive a pre-arrival message before their visit.


The add-in only displays the Workspaces that you have access to and Visit types that hold invitation addresses for calendar invites. 


You can save your preferred selection to the add-in by clicking Remember selection and pressing Confirm. Next time you create an event, all you have to do is click the Invites by Systam, and your default invitation address is added to the meeting.
