If a visitor has had to complete the same induction again, one of these is usually the reason:
- The completion has expired – the content's Pass is valid for number of days has run out.
- No validity period and a fresh pass required – if no validity period is set and Always require a fresh pass is on, the induction must be completed every time.
- All passes were expired manually – someone used Expire all passes now, for example after updating the content. The Action log on the Settings tab shows when this was last done.
- The person's details differ – Systam Pass recognises people by their email address. If the visitor used a different email or none at all, they may be treated as a new person.
- The content was replaced – completions of a deleted content don't count for a new one.
How to check
- Open Completions and search for the visitor.
- Check whether there are several entries for the same person with different details.
- Open the person and look at Activity & actions to see when they were invited and when each completion happened.
- Check the content's Settings tab for the validity period and the Action log.
A reminder invitation alone doesn't create a new person. If the reason still isn't clear, contact support@systam.io.
With these checks, you'll usually find the cause in a few minutes.
