User roles and permission in Systam Studio

This guide explains the user roles and permissions available in Systam Studio. Roles help you control what users can see and manage in Systam Studio.

User roles in Systam Studio

Systam Studio uses a hierarchical role-based permission system. Each role includes its own visibility and management rights.

Front desk roles are currently assigned only by our customer support at support@systam.io.

Managing admins

Admins are managed from the Admins view in Systam Studio.

Adding a new admin

Create a new admin

  1. Open Systam Studio.
  2. Go to Admins.
  3. Select Create new admin.
  4. Enter the user details:
    • Email address
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Phone number (optional)
    • Profile photo (optional)
    • Role (Organization owners can also assign the Organization owner role to another user.)
  5. Save the user.

Assign Orgaization owner permissions to an existing admin user

  1. Open the Admins view.
  2. Search for an existing admin and click on them to open their details or select Edit admin from the three dots on the right column.
  3. Find the section Grant additional permissions and select Organization owner.
  4. Save the changes.

Assign admin permissions to a host

  1. Open the Admins view.
  2. Select Assign admin permission to a host
  3. Search for an existing user or host.
  4. Press save.

The host will be set as admin to the current workspace.

Deleting an admin

When deleting an admin, the system displays a confirmation dialog before removal.

  1. Open Admins.
  2. Find the user from the list.
  3. From the three dots menu on the right, select Delete User.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

All set! Now you can manage user roles and permissions clearly and securely in Systam Studio.
