Sometimes a restart is needed to keep things running smoothly. If the kiosk's screen is unresponsive or something doesn’t seem quite right, a quick restart usually fixes the issue. Our Systam self-service kiosks can be restarted in two ways.
- Using the power button. The power button is located on the back of the device. Hold the button down for a few seconds. The kiosk will ask whether you want to shut down or reboot — choose Reboot.
- By unplugging the power cable from the wall. Plugging the power back in will restart the kiosk.
Note! If the kiosk has been powered off using the power button, unplugging the power cable will not restart the kiosk. Pressing the power button will do the trick.
