Setting up automatic reminders for expiring completions

Automatic reminders tell people when their completion is about to expire, so they can renew it in time. They're handy for content that needs to be completed regularly.

Before you start: reminders are sent before a completion expires, so set Pass is valid for number of days on the content's Settings tab.

1. Open Contents in the left sidebar and click the name of the content.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Find Reminder-messages in use. Click Modify if the content already has reminders, or Add if it has none.
4. Click Create a new reminder.
5. Set how many days before the completion expires the reminder is sent, and write the email and SMS text.
6. Save the reminder.

A link to complete the content is added to the end of the message automatically. The list shows each reminder's sending time and content, and you can Modify or Delete them later.

Reminders are content-specific, so set them up separately for each content you want to follow.

Done – people get a nudge before their completion runs out.
